Why Join?

We would love to have you join the New Zealand Laser Association (NZLA) or to renew your membership.
The New Zealand Laser community is very friendly, spans all ages and all walks of life. Our members include some of New Zealands best sailors.

As an NZLA member you can participate in NZ Laser events and will be supporting Laser sailing in NZ.

Each year the NZLA

• Organises the NZ Laser National Championships
• Financially assists our elite Laser sailors to attend international regattas
• Sends those elite Laser sailors to coach at events for young and old around New Zealand
• Acts as a District Association to represents us in the wider community of sailors in the International Laser Class Association 

International Laser Class Association (ICLA) class rules require you be a member of a District Association (the NZLA in this case) to race a Laser in any Laser event, such as the NZ Laser National Champs. Part of your subscription is paid to the ILCA and to Yachting new Zealand on your behalf.

Online Membership Form

The NZLA membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June. Subscriptions are due by 1 September each year.

Annual subscription is $75 (including GST) for new members and existing members.

The best way to join the NZLA or renew your subscription is;

1. Fill in the Online Membership Form
2. And pay via internet banking to our ASB account 12 3086 0109480 000 (include your name and sail number as references)
