Post Covid Success

Following on from my earlier items on supporting club sailing I just wanted to say congratulations and thanks to all of you who are back doing it….supporting club sailing.
In spite of the mercury hardly getting to 15 degrees, our coldest weekend so far this winter, it was fantastic to hear that Tamaki YC had a fleet of almost 30 Lasers racing on Saturday. Joining the usual masters and youth sailors were Olympic squad sailors Sam Meech and George Gautrey, and a big contingent from charter Lasers Royal Akarana YC.

On Sunday it was Pupuke that was abuzz with Opti's, P's, Starlings, Zephyrs and a great fleet of almost 20 Lasers, with current National champ Luke Cashmore and fellow U21 Harrison Baker the most consistent, but with the Masters fleet making them work hard for their results.
So lets keep it happening, continue to support your club sailing and encourage everyone else to join the fun.
